Today, two fraternal republics, close neighbours - Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have already crossed the 30-year milestone of friendship, partnership and cooperation in all spheres of life.
Over the years of independent development, relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have been developing in the spirit of mutual respect, trust and mutually beneficial partnership. Our countries have not faced any insurmountable disagreements. We are connected by the longest border in Central Asia, which can rightly be called the border of friendship.
Since ancient times, our peoples have lived in peace and harmony, supporting each other. We are united by a common border, historical destiny, related languages, religion, cultural values, traditions and customs. Building on these fundamentals, we have reached unprecedented heights across the broad spectrum of interaction.
Over these three decades, the relations between our countries have reached a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership and have become a model of interstate co-operation. Undoubtedly, this has become possible thanks to the efforts of the leaders of our countries.
To date, our republics have a bilateral mutually beneficial partnership in the field of medicine and, of course, try to comprehensively strengthen and develop the established ties for the benefit of the health of the peoples of the two countries. In particular, in March of the current year, "Memorandum on mutual cooperation" was signed between the State Institution "RSSPMCOG" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and "NCOGP" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which implies a wide range of relations in obstetrics and gynaecology in the direction of science, training, advanced training of medical workers, exchange of practical experience and introduction of innovative technologies.
Thus, in order to implement practical measures of the signed bilateral agreement, on the date 12-15 of July in the State Institution "RSSPMCOG" was held the visit of the delegation of "NCOGP" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during which were discussed topical issues of obstetrics and gynaecology, strengthening further mutually beneficial cooperation between the two medical institutions, as well as ways to introduce innovations in obstetrics and gynaecology. There was an exchange of views on other important issues on the agenda, on which further practical measures for their implementation will be developed.
